Underground and Overground Cable Connectors

The connection piece is intended for use in conjunction with short-circuiting devices in low voltage overhead lines. The cross-section of connecting cables is 25 mm sq. and the short-circuit current max. 5 kA, 1 s.

The connecting piece is fully insulated. Up to six earthing cables can be fed onto the connecting piece and firmly attached by means of the long detachable hexagonal Allen Key, which has an insulated extension grip.

The cable ends are fitted with copper caps and to prevent bending, a tube is fitted over the copper cap of the cable.

The clamping body is of brass, the Allen Key of steel. The casing and the insulated extension grip of the Allen Key are made of shock resistant plastic.
