Electricians' leather overgloves are specifically designed for use in electrical work to provide an additional layer of protection over insulated gloves. Electricians wear insulated gloves to protect against electric shock and electrical burns while working with or near live electrical currents. The leather overgloves add durability, mechanical protection, and an extra safety barrier, ensuring the insulated gloves beneath do not get damaged during work.
Application:
- Short overgloves (25 cm) ensure mechanical protection for insulating gloves for class 00 & 0, CG-00-XX-R28, CG-0-XX-R28, CG-05 and CG-10.
- They Add protection against arc flash hazards up to 12 cal/cm2 ATPV (according to ASTM F 2675)
- They are resistant to flame and contact heat of 100 ° C for 10 s according to EN 407.
- Velcro at the cuff adjusts the tightness of the glove to the user's hand.
